Love the thought provoking post. I wonder your thoughts on the idea of obedience in determining a Christian’s actions as opposed to the Christian just being busy doing whatever they feel is “right”. It seems to me that if our focus as believers was more on being obedient to what the Lord wants and less on doing what we think is right, we would not only be less busy but also be more content.
I think in a certain sense you are right. Obedience to the Word is our primary duty as Christians. Perhaps the hard part comes in determining what exactly "obedience" means. Certainly, some things are clear and obedience is rather black and white. What do we do, though, with the things that aren't as obvious?
That said, I don't think your notion is incorrect.
